Another fantastic addition to our webpage - here we come, great to be able to have some books for free, especially the kids ones. We have been talking about introducing the MP3 format for sometime and this will be a great way to investigate it all, good stuff!!!!
As my previous post I wont be attempting to download anything via my dialup connection as some of the files are rather big but will check it out once I get to work tomorrow

the joys of dial up

I have been attempting to look at You Tube and would love to post a favourite onto this blog but at home with dial up it just isn't going to happen. Will give it a go at work tomorrow if I get the chance. As I have said before I have enjoyed watching Download (Ten) on a Friday night with Bree, Mike and Fitzy to catch up with some really funny stuff. It's interesting what some people think it is humourous and to others it aint. Anyway have loved all that I have learnt so far and we have kept the links for all our staff to check out when they find their own moments to do so.

Well, I absolutely loved looking at all the other 2.0 stuff, it was great going the list and seeing the list of what you can do, i am going have to find some more moments to keep searching and seeking and playing. I looked at widgets, had trouble registering but will go back to add and would love to add a clock widget - perfect for the theme of my blog! I liked looking at igoogle and can see the implications of being able to bring everything onto your search engine page with some interesting and funny stuff

PB Wiki

Have just had some fun telling the world of PB wikis about my favourite artist Graeme Connors, I feel that WIKIs are such a powerful tool, so much to learn and embrace, having so much fun putting stuff out there that is totally original and it may just influence just one person to discover something new - whether it be a place to go, new music to listen to etc etc. Unreal!

Wiki Wonder

Oh yeah, have found something that we will just have to use, have already talked to a fellow Learning 2.0 participant who is on the same thinking. We can't wait to discuss the potential of what we can do with the Wiki tool in our library service. It's where we need to head so will certainly take some more moments to have chats about what we can do. I am so grateful that we might have the chance to explore other ways of reaching our community in a more free and non-restricted way. This is what Learning 2.0 is all about, taking things to the next level and allowing content to work both ways ie. from the provider and the user. It's all good!!!

Don't really dig it

Have just explored technorati and other thingys for week 6 on Learning 2.0. Can't say that I got much out of this exercise, didn't really feel that they were things that I would explore further. Not for me this time but am looking forward to checking out the next exercise and learning more. It's been a great journey so far and enjoying looking at other blogs when I get the minute to do so. Keep going gang, you are doing well, I reckon there are some great things that we can use now and in the future so keep playing and have fun. I know it's taking time out of your day and I appreciate the efforts you are all putting in. There will be things in the program that we all don't dig but that's OK isn't it? It's pretty cool learning stuff together.

Finding out Foo Fighters via RSS

Am rapt that I now have RSS from Rolling Stone telling me about the latest from the Foo Fighters, have been listening to their album all weekend so will be good to get the latest news and info on my blogline. Sure to be an endless supply of info from all my favourite artists.

We have had some great times here at Cobram with our friends. Fantastic spot to laze away the days in the hammock, a glass of champagne and a good book.

Jen's second minute

It's been good listening to the staff who are also taking part in Learning 2.0. Each boosting the other one up with ideas and suggestions. It is good to have support from your colleagues and their is a sense of achievement when things can be worked out together which each one contributing to the discussion.

Managing to find the first minute

I have been trying to find a minute to get to setting up my blog so it wasn't hard to find the title for it. My days have been flat chat with other things getting in the way. I am sure many of us are the same, it's just finding the time to get on top of all the other stuff and finding time to "play" with technology.
So my aim is to find more minutes to do that, here's hoping...
